First of all I am going to talk about what is networking? .Networking technically refers to the process of connecting one computer terminal with others residing at different places within a certain area. More precisely, it is a communication system, which interconnects many users who have something in common, either with respect to the type of data being sent or to the geographic areas that the users cover. Networks can be used between people, between people and computers, between computers and equipment or between computers.
Computer Networks:
Now, little hints we got so far in networking and now can simply define what computer network is. Nodes of each computer, which are connected with each other, are called computer network. So question rises, how those computers are connected with each other together? Therefore the solutions could be achieved either through physical component and logical component. These components are as follows:

- Network Interface Cards
- Protocols
- Hub/Switch
- Modem
Users like us are really benefited by the technique like computer networking in this cutting edge of technologies. It allows many users to share a common pathway to communicate with between each other .We will go in more details about this in later discussions. For now lets take about the types of networks existed so far in our communities of technology.
